Works as advertised, and provides all the necessary operations: peek_my to get variables declared in a scope, and peek_sub to get variables used (declared and closed over). For its limited audience, this is a good module.

PadWalker is really, really useful if you need to debug something really, really weird. I hope you never have to use this module, but if you do, use it boldly: it's great. If only it could create new pad entries up the call stack...

Throughly useful for a variety of introspection tasks with closures.
The interface isn't wonderful though.
