POE-Component-SimpleDBI (1.11)

Just as mentioned in tfm:
"This module is a breeze to use, you'll have DBI calls in your POE program up and running in only a few seconds of setup."
That hits the nail on the head. :)

Besides that I'd like to note that the author responds promptly and very polite to any comments and questions/requests.
