Bad, bad, bad. this is exactly why people think Perl is weird. But it's also exactly why we love it :). This is a great module which deserves a less confusing documentation.

POD::Tested, implementation would have been much more difficult without Lexical::Persistence magic.

Lexical-Persistence (0.97)

I wrote this module, then realized that Rocco had already written it with better docs and interface than I had thought of. This is like a happy marriage between PadWalker and Devel::LexAlias, with lots of fiddly bits already taken care of for you.
