I have used this module to parse the SVG 1.1 DTD (www.w3.org/Graphics/SVG/1.1/DTD/svg11... which is extremely complex. Version 0.08 of XML::DTD did not parse it correctly, and since I knew hardly anything about DTDs I issued a quite vague bug report about it. The author was extremely responsive and despite my minimal help he fixed the problem within a day.
The documentation is quite sparse and although you can guess a lot of things it should be expanded considerably. However, again the author was fast and very helpful with answering my questions. Under normal circumstances, I would remove on star for the documentation, but the superb responsiveness of the author earns back the fifth star.

The module does exactly what I needed and in a very similar way to what I was planning to implement. Documentation and calling interface are very clear. First, I forgot to call finish before fetch. In this case a warning would be helpful. Instead it returned the items of the unsorted list which - especially in the light of the old review - disturbed me a bit.
Besides this mistake of my own, I cannot confirm the problem described before. The module worked very well for me, nothing to complain. My use case was very simple, though, therefore I cannot say that I really stressed the module. My files were big (~7GB), but I just wanted a simple lexical sorting. Therefore, I would have given four stars because I haven't grilled the module enough to be able to say if it is really really good, but to compensate a bit for the in my opinion unjustified bad first review, I give 5.
Thanks, Marvin, thumbs up from my side.
