A great idea, and one which someone will hopefully extend to Tk and XUL.
The documentation on integrating perl functions into the XML seemed a little light to me, relying as it does upon example applications which crash perl.exe.
Funny thing: trying to install this module via CPAN gives the following message:
Fetching with LWP:
Going to read C:\.cpan\sources\modules\03modlist.data.gz
Going to write C:\.cpan\Metadata
The module Agent has no active maintainer.
Running install for module Agent
The module Agent isn't available on CPAN.
Either the module has not yet been uploaded to CPAN, or it is
temporary unavailable. Please contact the author to find out
more about the status. Try 'i Agent'.
I suppose this may be a CPAN issue, but I don't really have time to look into it at the moment. Of course I'll update this text as and when.
Great - but please can we have the documentation in standard POD format so that it can be read from perldoc and on CPAN.org?
Please have a look at your blah blah blah ...
