Spreadsheet-XLSX (0.13-withoutworldwri) ****

Great initial cut. I used to export from excel as text to be read into perl every time I updated - tedious.
Two quibbles: if the XLSX file contains any #REF cell errors, this is echoed to STDERR with no option I can find to ignore these (or to track where they came from). The error says:
Argument "#REF!" isn't numeric in int at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.0/Spreadsheet/XLSX/ line 94
Another one that comes up from something I can't locate within the XLSX file is:
Argument "<row r="697" spans="1:32">" isn't numeric in int at /usr/local/share/perl/5.10.0/Spreadsheet/XLSX/ line 94
I'm not *aware* of any spans (merged cells?) at the reported row; anyway again I'd like the module to trap these issues in reading the XML without printing to STDERR.
Second problem: cells containing accented characters are coming up as blank after I've read their Cell->{Val} into a perl variable (while all the non-accented ones come through fine). I assume this may be an issue with different character sets or encodings used, but I can't find a way to read this type of data successfully with this module.
The inability to read text with accents is really holding me up. Should this module be able to parse cells whose text includes UTF8 accent characters?
