So now he's gone and added an Acme::Sort::Nocase - together with Acme versions of a few more of his less-than-useful modules.

Without removing the offending "real" version.

If the author of the modules ever reads this, _please_ try to interact with the community a little bit before releasing modules.

One word: "Why?!"
OK, another few words: "No reason. No reason at all."

Sort-NoCase (0.22) *

This is a module to perform a case-insensitive sort.

The very thing you could do with

@a = sort { lc $a cmp lc $b } @a;

There. I've put the code you need in the rating. No need to install the module!

grow up, this does not belong on cpan

What is the point of this module?

All it does is

sort { lc($a) cmp lc($b) } @_;

Not exactly rocket science and it does not add particularly useful functionality that a few seconds of work can't replicate.

Perhaps an ACME::Sort::NoCase is in order:

sort { uc($a) cmp uc($b) } @_;
