Nice. Reinventing wheels as lumpy trapezoids! Yay! Fortunately the language, Perl, has this stuff already.

Can you be more specific? Many of these have not been
done before. Which modules are you complaining about?

Yes, some of these are better implemented elsewhere. But
years ago when I wrote them, there was nothing available
They are now added to CPAN since some are used by other
distributions that I thought would be more favorably
received (like PTools-Proc-NWay and POE-Component-GCS).

Yay, another distribution that reimplements existing modules... poorly!

Please, PLEASE, try to use existing modules when possible. Your programs will work better and you won't have to waste time designing wheels.
