very fine module, unfortunately not being maintained anymore it seems. however, except the bug with the scientific notation (for which i made a very dirty patch which works for me (rt.cpan.org/NoAuth/Bugs.html?Dist=PHP..., this is a very good, easy to use module

Other than one big error, this module works wonderfully. However, the error means I can't use it! It chokes on scientific notation:
weird data: d:1.4E+8;s:1:"I"

There have been some important bugs that have gotten through, but all in all, if you need to handle PHP sessions, there's no better way to do it.
