I've been using this module recently for simulating an SMS-C, and qualify a UCP client against it for load testing. The SMS-C simulator sends UCP52 messages and mainly reads back UCP52 ACK and UCP51 messages.
I was very pleased to be able to build up a small basic server in just a day. The UCP raw part for message decoding and coding just works fine.
The author also provides an interesting base for setting up an SMS-C server, and I was able to offer some enhancements that he quickly integrated into the next release.
Very responsive to enhancements and bug fixes.
