First, this module leaks memory, which causes 'Out of memory' error. Second, the IMAP interface hides some powerful features of the protocol, which render this module inconvinient for implementing non-trivial solutions such as webmail client for example. I strongly recommend using instead the pure perl solution Mail::IMAPTalk + Net::SMTP.
