Mac-PropertyList (1.30) ***

Great if you need to read from a Apple property list. If you want to change anything, you are out of luck. Only way to change data is to use the 'as_basic_data' method, but if you do this you can't write it out again as the data types are gone and everything will be of the 'string' type.

Mac-PropertyList (1.29) ****

I found this module very helpful, but I too wanted to use it for iTunes libraries, so I built Mac::PropertyList::SAX on top of it. Standing on the shoulders of giants ....

Mac-PropertyList (0.9) ***

Easy to use, but really quite slow compared to raw XML::Parser. Parsing a moderate-size iTunes library file, for example, is far too slow to be useful.
