Mail-Webmail-Gmail (1.09)

I noticed this was update a couple of weeks ago but I am still unable to login. Error:

C:\perlstuff\SA>SA.pl
Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at D:/Perl/site/lib/LWP/Protocol/http.pm line 25.
Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at D:/Perl/site/lib/Mail/Webmail/Gmail.pm line 1425.
Use of uninitialized value in array dereference at C:\perlstuff\SA\SA.pl line 102.


I'm assuming the last one is because it isn't logged in properly. No other error msgs, none from $gmail->error.

The module is completely useless until the author decides to repair it after Gmail changes broke the log in (see the bug on CPAN)

Since GMail gives POP access, I'm not sure if this module is needed.

Mail-Webmail-Gmail (1.03.1)

This module is very convenient. I used it to remove mail from a mailing list mailbox where I have tons of undesired messages, to the trash, without having to issue multiple commands in the gmail web-interface. My only problem with is that the interface requires a bit of discovery (IDs vs. Messages handles, etc.)

Highly recommended for all Gmail users.
